Novembuary

So It snowed Monday. Not like a dusting of festive "Oh look! Snow flakes!" kind of snow. But a giant rude dumping. Like Olaf the stinkin snowman took a large and uncalled for deuce on our beautiful fall scenery. Jerk.

This new season is called Novembuary.  Feels like February but it is unfortunately only November. The temperature has dropped. The snow is here to stay. And the need and want to decorate for Christmas, bake copious amounts of cookies and sing jingle bells has already begun. I'm 3 minutes and 12 seconds away from pulling out that damn tree and decorating it.

Far too soon for such shenanigans to start. Fun fact, the side roads are covered in a layer of thick ice like a skating rink. And it takes twice as long to get into and home from work. That is all. Done complaining for the day. Whelp, its a good thing we already have our winter trip booked and ready to go for January this year. A little island get away sounds fantastic to me right about now. Only 51 more days to go!
